Who We Are

The Bedford Ledger was created to provide a voice for Jewish students in the U.S. Poetry has the unique capacity to transcend differences and unite us under the common themes that draw us together.
The journal is published biannually in January and in June.

Our Vision

We are seeking high quality poetry that conveys a refined point of view: the poems should be unique to the author's voice and speak of a specific world view. We value a multiplicity of perspectives and diversity of expression in dealing with the universal struggle to maintain one's identity amid the chaos of the 21st century.
